Kuban Medical Institute is one of the oldest private universities in Russia. He united talented students and experienced teachers, distinguished practitioners, outstanding scientists – those who chose the noble, prestigious and always in demand profession of a doctor.
For 20 years of the institute’s work, about a thousand graduates received a doctor’s diploma and made a successful career in the medical field. We are proud that almost 100% of our graduates work in their specialty in Russia and abroad.

KMI was founded in 1995 on the basis of the Kuban State Medical Academy on the initiative of the administration of the Krasnodar Territory (Governor NI Kondratenko, mayor of Krasnodar NF Kryazhevskih).
In 2009, KubGUU left the founders, and the administrative building of the Institute moved to a new building, Budyonnogo Street, 198.
The founders of the Kuban Medical Institute are 37 professors of KMI and KubGMU – outstanding scientists and honored doctors of Kuban, many of whom teach at the institute.
