JIPMER 2018 Notification: Examination will be conducted on June 3, Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has issued an official notification for the entrance exam that will be held on June 3, 2017. The online application process for the exam starts on March 7 and the last date to apply for the same is April 13, 2018. This is one of the oldest medical institutes of India and is one of the most sought-after education institutes for aspiring MBBS candidate. Every year thousands of students appear for the prestigious institute’s entrance exam.

Details about the JIPMER 2018 Exam:
- JIPMER exam 2018 will be conducted online only
- Candidates will have two and hours to attempt the exam
The Online Entrance Examination will be conducted in two shifts:
- Morning Shift – 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM
- Afternoon Shift – 03:00 PM to 05:30 PM
JIPMER 2018 Exam pattern: There will be 200 multiple choice questions out of which there will be 60 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. There will be 10 questions from English Language and Comprehension and Logical & Quantitative Reasoning.
This year, the JIPMER is offering a total of 200 seats. The Puducherry branch of the institute will be in the lead again with 150 seats to offers for MBBS course and JIPMER Karaikal will offer 50 seats this year.
