The Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE will issue the national level medical entrance result 2018, CBSE NEET Result 2018 on its official website cbseneet.nic.in
New Delhi: CBSE confirms NEET result date; the result will be declared today. NEET 2018 result sheet will be released on the official website at cbseneet.nic.in. With the result declaration, CBSE will bring an end to the month long wait of 13,26,725 candidates who had appeared for the exam on May 6, 2018. NEET exam is conducted by CBSE to grant admission to MBBS/ BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/ Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry. NEET 2018 result is coming a day before the scheduled date. As per the exam time table, the result was supposed to be declared tomorrow (June 5, 2018).
NEET 2018 Result Step by Step Updates
As of now NEET result 2018 time is uncertain. No category wise result sheet will be prepared for NEET 2018. For the merit list of seats other than 15% All India Quota, the result will be given to the DGHS, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India to provide the same to the Admitting Authorities. Admission through NEET 2018 scores will be through All India Quota Seats, State government quota seats, central institutions/ universities/ deemed universities, state/ management/ NRI quota seats in private medical/ dental colleges or private university and central pool quota seats. The result of NEET (UG) may be utilized by other entities of Central/State Governments for admission purpose in accordance with their rules. NEET 2018 was held in 136 cities at 2255 exam centres. A total of 580648 male candidates had appeared for the exam; 746076 female candidates had appeared for the exam.
This year many students could not appear in NEET or many of them could not qualify NEET. MBBS Abroad is also an option as here in India competition is too high for government medical colleges and fees for private medical colleges are very high and not affordable for many of the parents. This year Indian students are also preferring abroad options as all students are supposed to appear for National Exit Test (NEXT) (approved by cabinet and details available on this link).
